Wikimania is the annual Wikimedia conference. It is aimed particularly at the Wikimedia community but welcomes researchers who want to present on topics relevant to this community. Wikia is a sponsor and is offering scholarships to Wikians who want to attend Wikimania 2007. See Wikimania for details.

WikiSym is the International Symposium on Wikis. The tagline for the 2007 event is "Wikis at Work in the World: Open, Organic, Participatory Media for the 21st Century". See the WikiSym 2007 Call for Papers.
WikiSym is the only peer reviewed wiki conference.

- RecentChangesCamp is an unconference for wikis.
It was held in Portland, Oregon, USA (2006, 2007). Official website / Wikipedia article

- RococoBarCamp took place in Montreal in May 2007.
- WikiCamp India was first held in Chennai in India in 2007. Similar to RecentChangesCamp, WikiCamp was an unconference. Official website

Wiki Wednesdays are held around the world on the first Wednesday of each month. These are informal events where people get together to chat, learn about wikis, find jobs, talk deals and generally cavort.
Wiki Wednesday's are regularly held in Palo Alto, London, Sydney, and other locations.

Wikimedia Conference Nederland took place on 27 October 2007. This was an event run by the Dutch chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation, Association Wikimedia Netherlands.
